The History of Video Games

Video games have been around since the early 1970s.The first arcade video game, Computer Space, was introduced in 1971. Since the 1980s, video gaming has become a popular form of entertainment and a part of modern popular culture in most parts of the world. The first computer game is generally assumed to be the game Spacewar! Video Games now have more consoles and games such as Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, Sonic, Pokemon, Lego Games, Mario, Splatoon, Skylanders, and Rayman. Consoles include Xbox, Wii, Wii U, Playstation, and Nintendo. We still have arcades like in the old days, but now we have consoles and more video game choices. Skylanders  games even have a toy detecting pad!

That’s all for my presentation on The History of Video Games.

Book Mobiles

Bookmobiles are cars, trucks, buses, and other kinds of transport that holds books. There are a total of 659 Bookmobiles in the U.S. They can be Bikes, Wagons, Donkey Karts, Camels,  Motorbikes,  Boats,  Helicopters,  and Trains. They can be called Mobile Libraries.

There is a National Bookmobile Day! There is an actual Words on Wheels Bookmobile (You’ll know what I mean if you’ve read the book: The Power of W.O.W.!)!

There is an Association of Bookmobile Outreach Services.

That is the End of My report on bookmobiles.
